KCB Wins Silver at 2019 Canada’s Safest Employers Awards

Canadian Occupational Safety awarded KCB a Silver award at the 2019 Canada’s Safest Employers Awards in the Mining and Natural Resources category last night in Toronto. Andrea Murray, an Aquatic Biologist based in our Sudbury office, accepted the award on behalf of the company. This is the 2nd year in a row that KCB has won this award.

Canada’s Safest Employers awards recognizes companies in 10 industry-specific categories, ranging from services and health care to mining and manufacturing. The companies are judged on a wide range of occupational health and safety elements including leadership commitment, employee training, OHS management systems, incident investigation, emergency preparedness and innovative health and safety initiatives.

All winners will also be mentioned in the October/November 2019 issue of Canadian Occupational Safety.
