Klohn Crippen Berger: Work Underway Fort Hills Project

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA - Klohn Crippen Berger is in the planning stage for the detailed design of an external tailings facility for Petro-Canada Oil Sands Inc. The Fort Hills Project, a synthetic crude production project, is located in northern Alberta.
"Klohn Crippen Berger has worked on tailings projects for every major operating firm in the oil sands," said Gregg O'Neil, Project Manager. "The Fort Hills Project is a perfect fit with our experience." The Fort Hills Project is a limited partnership between Petro-Canada 55%, UTS Energy 30%, and TeckCominco 15%. Production is expected to begin in 2010, with an initial capacity of 165,000 BPD.
