Brian Rogers receives 2021 Calgary Geotechnical Society (CyGS) Award

Congratulations to Brian Rogers, Principal and Chairman at Klohn Crippen Berger (KCB), on receiving the 2021 Calgary Geotechnical Society (CyGS) Award for his “exceptional efforts, energy, and contributions” to the field of geotechnical engineering in Calgary.

Brian is a geotechnical engineer with over 45 years’ experience in the design and construction of diverse civil resource development and water resource projects. Forty years of his experience has been spent in Calgary, Alberta. His experience includes the design and construction of water retaining dams, irrigation projects, transportation and infrastructure projects, tailings dams, mine waste disposal schemes, and arctic offshore hydrocarbon developments. He joined KCB in 1991 and has since held positions as Manager and Vice-President of our Alberta group, before becoming Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2017.
