KCB Named Excellence Awardee for Canada’s Safest Employers

Canadian Occupational Safety magazine announced KCB as an Excellence Awardee for Canada’s Safest Mining & Natural Resources Employer during Canada’s Safest Awards held on October 10, 2024.

KCB’s Manager, Toronto, Andrew Muir, accepted the award on behalf of the company.

Canada’s Safest Awards recognizes employers within the mining and natural resources industry that not only have an exemplary health and safety record but also demonstrate a commitment to ensuring the health and safety of those in their workplaces and worksites.

Canada's Safest Employers Awards recognize companies from across Canada with outstanding accomplishments in promoting the health and safety of their workers. The awards cover 10 industry-specific categories, ranging from hospitality to mining and natural resources. Companies are judged on a wide range of occupational health and safety elements, including employee training, OHS management systems, incident investigation, emergency preparedness and innovative health and safety initiatives.
