Kristin is registered professional engineer with 17 years of structural engineering experience. She has worked on numerous marine engineering projects, bridge projects, and hydroelectric projects throughout British Columbia and internationally. Her experience includes project management; structural design and analysis; seismic assessment and retrofit design; construction engineering and erection analysis; inspections, condition assessments and rehabilitation design; asset management; load ratings; contract document preparation; and construction supervision.
Kristin currently manages KCB’s Ports and Harbours group.
Key Projects
Kristin’s key projects include the Highway 407 East Extension Phase 2 in Oshawa, Ontario; the Highway 29 – Dry Creek Bridge in Fort St. John, British Columbia; the Centerm Expansion Project Owner’s Engineer in Vancouver, British Columba; and the Esquimalt Harbour Remediation Project.
Education
Kristin has a B.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering from University of British. She is a Registered Professional Engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia and Professional Engineers Ontario.
Fun Fact
Kristin enjoys baking and makes wedding cakes in her spare time. Her background in structural engineering is an asset for creating structurally sound, tiered cakes!
