Jordan is a Senior Civil Engineer who has over fifteen years of experience in water resources, river engineering, surface water management, and municipal engineering. She has been involved in surface water management at mine sites, dam rehabilitation and dam safety, spillway design, river engineering and canal and pipeline design for irrigation. Jordan’s experience includes project management, computer modelling, feasibility and detailed design, regulatory permitting, project tendering and construction administration and supervision.
Key Projects
Jordan’s key projects include the Women’s Coulee Irrigation System Rehabilitation near High River, Alberta, McGregor Reservoir Shoreline Erosion Protection in Milo, Alberta, Caribou Mine Tailings Facility flood routing and spillway design near Bathurst, New Brunswick, and Aitik Copper Mine, Dam Safety Review and Permit Level design of water management infrastructure in Sweden.
Education
Jordan has a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada. She is also a Registered Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta.
Fun Fact
Jordan is always up for a challenge. She completed her first Ironman Triathlon (3.8 km swim, 180 km bike, 42 km run) in 2012 in Penticton, British Columbia with a time of 11 hour 40 mins. She has since competed in Ironman Whistler and multiple Ironman 70.3 distance races.
