Jeremy is a Senior Civil Engineer with a speciality in hydrotechnical engineering. Jeremy has 20 years of diverse experience including project management, project engineering and coordination, construction support, hydraulic design of major hydroelectric facility components such as spillways, tunnels, power intakes and penstocks, transient analyses, energy modeling, river system modeling and scheduling.
Jeremy is proficient with 3D modelling software such as SolidWorks and Autodesk Revit, hydraulic design software such as Flow 3D, HEC-RAS, WHAMO and Hytran, and scheduling software such as MS Project and Primavera. Jeremy is also familiar with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, MathCAD, and programming languages such as C++ and Visual Basic.

Jeremy’s key projects include the Site C Hydroelectric Project, Fort St. John in British Columbia, the Wilsey Fish Passage Project, Lumby in British Columbia, Snoqualmie Falls Hydroelectric Project in Snoqualmie, Washington, and the John Hart Hydroelectric Project on the Campbell River, British Columbia.
Education
Jeremy has a B.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia. He is a Registered Professional Engineer with the Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. Jeremy has also served in several volunteer roles with the Canadian Dam Association, serving as the Board Director for the Province of BC (Oct 2020 to Oct 2024) and as a member on the Honours and Awards Committee and Board Nominations Committee.
Fun Fact
Jeremy is the only engineer in his family, which is quite unusual in the world of engineering! Jeremy won a balsa wood bridge building competition in Grade 10, which was one of the catalysts to him considering a future in engineering.
