Johan Labuschagne Appointed Manager, Western Australia

Klohn Crippen Berger (KCB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Johan Labuschagne as Manager, Western Australia. He succeeds Warren Vincent-Lambert, who was recently appointed to Vice President, Australasia.

Johan joined KCB’s Perth office in January 2024 after more than a decade in engineering consulting in South Africa. Since 2025, he has fulfilled a team lead role in the Perth office and brings leadership experience from both consulting engineering and on-site construction management on major projects.

He is a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer with over 14 years of experience spanning the design, construction, and operational support of Tailings Storage Facilities (TSFs). He has developed strong expertise in TSF design and construction, surveillance, site investigations, construction contract management, and quality assurance.

Johan’s international experience includes projects across Australia, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Ghana, and Guinea. He has worked with a diverse range of tailings materials, including bauxite, gold, kimberlite, and coal ash.
